Who Is Victor
Victor Guevara is a trombonist, educator, and producer.
As a performer, Victor has appeared with ensembles including the John Creek Symphony, Athens Symphony Orchestra, Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra, UGA Symphony orchestra, Texas State Symphony Orchestra, Texas State Jazz Orchestra, and various chamber and combo groups during his studies. He has also participated in festivals and institutes such as the Vancouver Symphony Orchestral Institute, Santa Fe Trombone Summit, and Rafael Méndez Brass Institute.
In addition to performing, Victor is an active educator and arts producer, working with public school programs, summer music camps, and collegiate media and livestreaming productions. He was named a finalist in the 2025 ATW National Solo Competition, has written reviews for the ITA Journal and is passionate about combining performance, education, and media to engage new audiences in music.
He attained a Master of Music in Trombone Performance at the University of Georgia and originally from Texas, Victor earned his Bachelor of Music in Performance from Texas State University with a minor in Mass Communication.
